This policy explains how the mobile app "Multi Tool Custom" (the "App") handles information.
1. Information the operator receives
The App has no account registration, and the operator has no server that collects user information. The operator receives only your email address and message when you contact us, and uses them to reply to you.
2. Information processed on your device
The following information is processed on your device to provide the App's features and is not sent to the operator.
Camera feed
Used to show the camera, read QR codes, and take photos and videos. The same applies to connected USB cameras.
Microphone audio
Used to measure sound level and frequency. Audio is not saved. The recording feature does not record audio.
Location
Used to work out your current speed while the speedometer is measuring. It is not saved.
Photos and videos
What you capture is saved where your device's photo app can see it.
Device orientation and other sensor values
Used to show the compass and inclinometer. They are not saved.
App settings
Settings such as widget layout and language are saved on your device.
If you open a URL found in a QR code, your device's default app connects to that site.
3. Advertising and information sent to third parties
The App uses AdMob, an advertising service of Google LLC. Unless you have purchased ad removal, the following information is sent directly from your device to Google to serve ads. The operator does not receive this information.
Recipient
Google LLC (AdMob)
Information sent
Advertising identifiers (the Android advertising ID, and the IDFA on iOS only if you allow it), IP address, device and OS information, ad impression and tap information, and consent settings
Purposes
Serving ads, measuring ad performance, and preventing fraud. With your consent or permission, also showing ads tailored to you
Purchases in the App are processed by Google Play or the App Store. The operator does not receive your payment information. The App asks the store whether you have made a purchase, and saves whether you have purchased ad removal on your device.
5. Your choices
Changing consent: In regions where consent is requested, you can change your ad consent under "Ad Privacy" in the App's Settings.
Tracking on iOS: You can change this under Privacy & Security, Tracking in your device settings.
Android advertising ID: You can delete or reset it under Privacy, Ads in your device settings. Item names vary by device.
Permissions such as camera, microphone, and location: You can change them at any time in your device settings.
Ad removal: If you purchase ad removal, the transmission for serving ads described above does not take place.
6. Changes to this policy
We may change this policy, for example when adding features. Changes apply from the time they are published on this page.
